Pastor Kurtis W. Estes M.C.S.

Life is crazy and when you add kids and a wife into life, total chaos ensues, yet our God has purposed us men to lead our families well through the storms and joy’s of life. The Lord has given me a passion to encourage men to lead well, even when it feels like we are totally inept. I believe that men, godly men, men of honor and courage, men who seek to lead well at home and in their churches, have the power to change the generations that come after us for the glory of God.

My desire is that this website and blog would be a tool to encourage you in leading your family well and that it will challenge you to be all that you can for the family God has blessed you with, whether it be your blood family, your adopted family, your foster family, and even the family of God expressed in the local church.

Kurtis is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Salisbury, Mo. As a pastor his desire is to see healthy men lead well.

Pastor Kurtis graduated from Missouri State University with his bachelors in Agriculture in 2008.

Having been called to the ministry in High School, he continued to keep that calling at a distance in his life until 2012 when the Lord reminded him that he had been set apart to lead people to Jesus.

In 2013 Pastor Kurtis graduated with his Masters in Christian Studies with an emphasis in church planting from Union University, in Jackson TN.

Pastor Kurtis was married to his beautiful wife Melissa in 2007. He and his wife were blessed with three living children, Zane, Olivia, and Gracie, along with three babies who now live with their Father in heaven.
